The Jersey Shore have signed on for a second season. MTV ordered 12 more episodes of debaucherous fun with all cast members returning. While usmagazine.com won’t get into how much each cast member is making, it was rumored all last week and the week before that cast members were squabbling for an extra $5,000 an episode.

So it might very well be that Snookie and friends are pocketing six figures for the next season. The next season will air this summer.
“Our audience has fallen in love with Jersey Shore and its amazing cast who have really grown together as a family,” Tony DiSanto, MTV’s president of programming, said in a statement. “That bond gives the show its heart, and we’re thrilled to reunite these friends.”
One difference? The Jersey Shore won’t be in New Jersey. MTV will jet them off to some tropical locale so they can avoid the east coast winter.
