Tila Tequila’s engagement to Casey Johnson might have been Joe Francis’ idea. It seems that Tila’s grief over losing Casey might be for multiple reasons, including her publicity tool. Joe is funding one of Tila’s websites that is launching soon and her engagement with Casey was a way they were maybe going to promote it.

If you have been following Tila on Twitter at all, you know she is turning the grief on herself, saying outrageous things in an apparent attempt at attention. She’ll go from saying she hasn’t slept in weeks to announcing her website and a cool new record deal. WTF? Would you be able to turn it on and off like that if your fiance died? From Celebitchy:
And in related news, there’s speculation that Tila’s engagement to Casey was all part a plot hatched by Girls Gone Wild douche Joe Francis. Tila posted a video announcing her engagement in which she and Casey were lying in bed in their bras and panties. She showed off her ring and bragged about it, and then announced that she was going to have sex with Casey once the camera was off. Casey lightly grabbed Tila’s boob at the end. The NY Daily News says the whole thing was masterminded by Francis, as if Tila needs any help promoting herself. “Some insiders believe… Joe Francis was the secret architect of the sad spectacle, which they say was designed to hype Tequila’s Francis-financed Web site.”
If this comes to be true, it is sad indeed. Tila has been ranting that she will be on Larry King Tuesday, with letters from Casey proving how bad the Johnson family was. However, the Larry King site says nothing about it. Tila wasn’t even invited to the burial in New York, making it seem like the Johnson family knew about the reasoning behind the ‘engagement.’ Do you think their engagement was real?
