Ugly Betty Is Canceled
The hit TV show ‘Ugly Betty’ has been canceled. The ABC comedy, which has been on the air since 2006, suffered bad ratings and the network finally decided to pull the plug. Sadness! Will Vanessa Williams ever find a role so suited to her? What about our beloved America Ferrera?

According to sources at ShowbizSpy.com, the cancellation didn’t come as much of a surprise:
“The show was moved around so much and it looked pretty bleak early in the season, but when we got back on Wednesday nights, it seemed like it might all work out and we could swing higher ratings,” said one Ugly staffer.“Everyone has been on pins and needles since this summer, so in some ways, it is a relief, even though we will all be out of work. It’s been a stressful year and executives were mishandling the show.”
The source continues to say that after the show was moved to Fridays the ratings suffered and UB core audience was lost. Sadness!
