Madonna would like to build a school in Malawa, and in the process she’s uprooting close to 200 villagers from their homes. This didn’t go over too well with the disgruntled Malawians who refuse to leave. Uh oh. Her Madgesty certainly causes a stir wherever she goes, doesn’t she?

The New York Daily News reports that the government offered to relocate the families to land and even give them a payout for the inconvenience.
But people living on the proposed school site don’t want to leave, despite pledges that the institution will help their children. They were paid about $115,000 total, split among the group. But they have refused to go.
Wow. This is probably the most resistance Madonna has ever experienced when attempting one of her many lofty goals.
