Russell Brand tweeted to the masses on Sunday night about needing cocaine to stay awake through the Grammys. Ha. That’s actually amusing. The ceremony was criminally long this year, and while we were able to turn off the TV and go on with our lives, poor Russell Brand had to endure the mindless drivel while supporting girlfriend Katy Perry.

Russell rather hilariously tweeted (via HollywoodLife.com):
“Grammies?” the 34-year-old British comic wrote on his Twitter page Jan. 31. “Is that how much coke you need to stay awake through em? LooOOOOOooooong! X.”
While flipping though the pictures of Russell and Katy together last night, he looked slightly bug-eyed, as a matter of fact. It wouldn’t have been completely shocking to hear Russell Brand took frequent bathroom breaks during the snoozefest.
