Jersey Shore guidettes Snooki and JWoWW aren’t Italian. MTV has touted their Jersey Shore vehicle as an inside look into the summer Jersey Shore lives of Italian Americans. The cast member played along, even offending Italian American interst groups who said the cast were an embarrassment to the ethnicity.

As it turns out Snooki and JWoWW aren’t even Italian. According to Fox411.com:
“But in an appearance on FoxNews.com’s hit Web show, “The Strategy Room,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley revealed that she and some of the other cast members are not actually Italian! Farley herself is “Spanish and Irish,” while castmate Snooki is actually Chilean. We’ll give you a moment to reflect on that. The self-proclaimed “guidette princess” from Poughkeepsie is not Italian!”
Hm. Well. The last name “Farley” should have been an appropriate tip-off. What do you think? Does this make you think differently about The Jersey Shore?

I think that if you are going to do a show about Italians than all the cast members should be Italian. Throwing in girls because of their looks make the whole show look fake…
Snooki is half Chilean and half Italian!!!!!!!!!!!! She said so herself! And Jenni yes is not at all but who cares!
Snookie is full Chilean but adopted by Italian American parents..so i get why she might feel italian..
and as far as im concernd, guido doesnt necesarrily mean Italian blood..its more a stereotype of what an Italian american is and people can fall under any stereotypes they want..Jenny is VERY much a guidette…and i’m sure theres Italian American Emo or goth kids..would you call these people Guido’s still? i wouldnt
