Tom Cruise to star in Mission Impossible 4! Cruise, 47 has accepted to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 4. Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday (February 9) that Mission Impossible IV is targeted to be released on Memorial Day 2011.

Tom made his first Mission Impossible back in the mid 90s, the movie hit theaters in 1996 and was a huge box office success and so was Mission Impssible 2 and MI 3.
Mission Impossible 3′s director J.J. Abrams will not be returning to direct MI 4 but he will be producing it with Tom Cruise through his Bad Robot Productions company.
Paramount Pictures chairman Brad Grey says: “Tom and J.J. are great talents,” “We are excited to be working with them to re-launch this legendary franchise.” – via Slash Film
The duo are currently working with the Paramount studio to find a director for the project.
