Billy Corgan criticized John Mayer for talking about Jessica Simpson in a recent Playboy article. Anyone who is breathing surely knows by now that John Mayer yapped about Jessica‘s bedroom skills and Jessica was very offended and this is not at all gentlemanly and whatnot.

Well today Billy Corgan — Jessica‘s new pitbull BFF — opened up to Rolling Stone and said Mayer is basically ruining his career.
“He’s trying to destroy his career. Rather than take a year off or change his musical direction, some part of it is irritating his soul to the point where he’s trying to blow it up. Certainly a talented guy, but empathetically, standing on the sidelines, it’s hard to watch someone literally burn their career to the ground speaking as somebody who’s done it.”
Eh. Not so sure about this. This might be giving John Mayer too much credit.
“I think for any person who has celebrity to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that, there’s things you should really just keep your mouths shut on,” says Corgan. “There’s things that should just be left alone.”
