Billy Corgan opened up to Rolling Stone and admitted that he loves Jessica Simpson. Sure, he said it in a platonic manner, but this just adds fuel to the ‘did Jessica and Billy hook-up?’ debate. Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan were spotted together late last year after he helped her write the theme song for her VH1 song ‘The Price Of Beauty.’

While both camps denied a romance was blossoming, its common knowledge these rumors are always begun with at least a kernel of truth. Well, here comes that kernel. Billy told Rolling Stone (via usmagazine.com):
“If I go, ‘Oh, we’re just friends,’ then it’s like, ‘Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?’ It has nothing to do with any of that,” he tells Rolling Stone. “Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that. My goal in life is to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It’s really simple.”
Hm. No quite an admission but pretty darn close. Oh, Jessica who havent you sunk your talons into?
