Elin Nordegren divorcing her cheating husband, Tiger Woods according to a new report which has just surfaced. Nordegren had wanted to stay with Woods for the sake of their two young children but she has now decided to go through with the divorce.
UK Mirror reports that Elin, 30 – left devastated by Tiger’s string of affairs – went to see her divorce lawyers the day after he announced he would play in next month’s US Masters.
She is reportedly “Furious” at Tiger‘s golf comeback which has led him spending 16 hours a day practicing.
Elin,30 told her friends that Tiger, 34 had humiliated her by breaking a public pledge which he made during his TV apology in February, to put his family first.
But Elin was livid when he then cancelled a family dinner at her home – and instead invited golf journalists there so his team could “spin” his return to the game.
She has now taken the couple’s two young children to live with friends an hour from the family mansion in Isleworth, Florida.
A friend said: “She went to her lawyers and told them, ‘I’m going through with it’. After Tiger announced he was going to compete again it was like a switch flicked – he was back to his workaholic ways. He really was focused on his family for a while there, sinking his teeth into his therapy.
“But now he’s spending 16 hours a day on the practice ground, putting his game first, like the selfish, narcissistic husband he is. It’s made Elin realise there won’t be any real end to this and she needs to get out.”

Elin and her twin sister Josefin were working as au pairs for Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik when he introduced her to Tiger during the 2001 British Open. It’s very common for young Swedish students or girls to work aboard as au pairs that way they get to brush up their language and to travel the world. Elin married Tiger in October, 2004 by the 19th hole at the exclusive Sandy Lane resort in Barbados.
Their two young children, Sam Alexis born June 18, 2007 and Charlie Axel on February 8th, 2009.

All pro-golfers and pro-atthletes are like this…very passionate about their game and practice…. If women forced these men to give up their sports career, the women are just forcing these men to go for divorce… These men know too well that they, without the sports, are “dead” man…
I think that Elin Nordegren has been trying very hard but she cannot get over Tigers’ savage betrayal and who can blame her? A wife does not get over such betrayal and lost of trust in a short period of time. Elin’s life has been and continues to be a living hell but she keeps going on for her children. Elin has conducted herself with dignity and courage during this horrid ordeal. How can Elin heal and trust again when all the sordid details of Tiger’s infidelities are being disclosed by the media almost daily? How much more pain, suffering and humiliation can this graceful and decent woman endure? I pray that whatever Elin decides to do work the best for her and her two precious children. My heart goes to them!
