George Clooney was drunk and carrying a flask at the Oscars. Although George was nominated in the Best Actor category for his work in Up In The Air, he looked uncharacteristically grouchy whenever the camera panned to him in the crowd. Clooney looked downright surly, in fact.

Yet, what we thought was surly may have just been…drunk. Yes. Drunk. George Clooney was drunker then a skunk at the Oscars. According to Ted Casablancas column on eonline.com:
“Handsome Georgie was reaching out to kiss this foxy femme and that gorgeous star, right and left…”To show you why I mean it,” Clooney offered the perfectly delighted gal he’d just kiss-kissed, the Oscar-winning dude opened his tux jacket. And there, gleaming and looking awfully deliciously discreet, was a silver flask.”
Oh, how very 20 years old of him. It’s a shame he didn’t win afterall. That acceptance speech would have made Kanye West proud.
