Katy Perry is Smurfette! Katy has just signed on to star in the remake or creation or whatever you want to call it of a movie based on the 80s cartoons the Smurfs. It is a live action, CGI flick that also stars Neil Patrick Harris as Gargamel.

Was there a Gutsy Smurf? I don’t seem to remember him. I hope Smurfette finally hooks up with someone though…that flirting was torture to watch every Saturday.
