Ricky Martin came out of the closet as being gay! Ricky made an announcement online confirming what people had been whispering about for years…he’s gay. Martin has been writing a memoir for most of the last year and made this statement ahead of the book release.

Ricky adopted twin sons a bit back, but people thought it was odd, without a woman in his life. Now, Ricky says via the Washington Post:
“I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am,” he said in a statement on his Web site. The Latin pop star and adoptive father of two said he decided to write his memoirs a few months ago, a project that freed him “from things I was carrying within me for a long time.”
Good for him to come out and feel good about it. Nothing to hide, Ricky.
