Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Raven were on The View today and Pattinson was forced to explain his vagina allergy comment from Details magazine. Ah, poor RobPatz. To make matters even more embarrassing, his mother was in the studio audience. Regardless, he was a good sport and suffered through the hens and their Q and A.

While Pattinson was probably wiping a droplet of sweat from his brow, thrilled they hadn’t brought up that dreaded quote, here comes Barbara Walters with her journalistic inquisitiveness. When asked what exactly he meant by his “allergic to vaginas” quote he said:
“I learned two things from that interview. One thing, never try to make jokes in printed interviews, and the other is just never do interviews ever. I do have an actual allergy. It’s terrible. It’s a curse.”
A few seconds later he also tells the audience he thinks Betty White is sexy, which c’mon RPatz, that’s most definitely a soundbite that will follow you forever.
