Robert Pattinson’s new movie, ‘Remember Me’ was not impressive at the box office over the weekend. Either Robert doesn’t have the draw outside of the Twilight movies or the movie really stinks.

More pictures of Robert after the drop…
I guess the teens and tweeners didn’t care to see Robert in a more dramatic role. Or one where he doesn’t have teeth. From OK! Magazine:
Although girls across the world swoon over Twilight vampire Robert Pattinson, it doesn’t appear as if they are going to see his new flick Remember Me with not-so impressive box office numbers this weekend.
Taking in $8.3 million from Friday to Saturday according to Reuters, the romantic story stands at fourth place below She’s Out of My League and Matt Damon’s the Green Zone with $14.5 million.
There’s also the PG-13 rating on it, which might have kept some of the crowds at bay. I hope Kristen Stewart’s movie Runaway’s can fare better as a box office draw.

I don’t call 8.3 million a bomb! Considering it only opened at 2,212 theaters and is not a big blockbuster type movie I don’t think that was a bad opening Friday and Saturday. I’d be more worried if I was Matt Damon! opening with $14.5 million at 3,003 theaters. Even She’s Out Of My League opened at 2,956 theaters over 700 more than Remember me. If you look at the averages Remember Me did beat SOOML ……. so like I said I don’t consider it a bomb.
The studio expected RM to open between 8-10 million which is exactly what it did. The film was made for only 16million. So to label it a bomb is very misleading on your part.
Remember Me did quite well actually. The budget for this movie was $16M and it made back over half that amount in its first three days of opening. It played in fewer theatres but still had a per theatre average of $3,657. It actually did better than Green Zone, which had a budget of over $100M and went way over even that amount, and only had a per theatre average of $3,307. If you want to be critical of a movie, go start there, pick on Mat Damon. Rob’s movie did BETTER than the so called block buster Green Zone.
