Bret Michaels suffered a brain haemorrhage. Michaels was rushed to a hospital on Thursday night after experiencing a severe headache. His rep confirmed this afternoon that it was in fact a brain haemorrhage, which is bleeding at the base of the brain stem. He is now in the intensive care unit.

This has been a rocky month for Michaels. Just a few weeks ago he was hospitalized again for a very severe case of appendicitis. As usmagazine.com reports, Michaels blogged that he could have died.
Michaels is also diabetic having acquired Type 1 diabetes, and mentioned in his writing that he needs to take better care of himself.
