Courtney Love Is Dead
Courtney Love is dead — in name that is. The woman formerly known as Courtney Love is very much alive, but she refuses to go by that moniker. The artist formerly known as Courtney Love would now like to be called Courtney Michelle. SIGH. She just can’t disappear for longer then a month TOPS, can she? Somehow Courtney Love Michelle always finds a way to weasel her way back into the public eye.

So why the public name change? She feels the name Courtney Love “oppresses” her.
“Courtney Love is dead. We’ve all decided we don’t like her any more. We love her when she goes onstage, but I don’t need her in the rest of my life. The name Courtney Love is a way to oppress me.”
She also had some off color things to say about the late Kurt Cobain. After saying she was not his “spokesperson on Earth” she added:
“I don’t know what he’d be like now, he could be into society girls, he could be into fat girls, he could be homosexual. We don’t know, he died at 27.”
You know, we all giggle at Courtney Love Michelle, but I’ll bet you she’ll outlive us all. Truly. She is indestructable.
