Gerard Butler is now dating French journalist Laurie Cholewa. Suspiciously, right after pictures surfaced of Butler giving Jennifer Aniston the finger in Paris, People reported on his “romantic date” with a French TV journalist, Laurie Cholewa. Supposedly, Cholewa had him at “bonjour” while he did press for The Bounty Hunter.

Some French spies told People:
“[Butler] returned to Paris midweek for a date with Cholewa, 29, that stretched from the day into the evening.
The two were seen strolling hand in hand through the French capital, visiting landmarks like the Louvre museum, where they ate lunch at the Café Marly. They had dinner on the Left Bank that same evening.”
This is all fine and dandy, but with detailed descriptions like that it sounds like a leak from Butler‘s camp to dispel Aniston rumors, no?

Gerry is just deflecting from the Aniston and gay rumors. I hope the girl was aware of this set up. It would be pretty sleazy of Gerry’s PR team to not tell her what the date was really about.

He’s not in love or even dating Laurie Cholewa. The pictures of them seen walking in Paris were taken by her own people from Direct 8. It was arranged with his PR because Cholewa was desperate for an interview and he had very little time to give one. They wanted to deflect the attention from the infamous picture with Jennifer Aniston on the boat.
