Heidi Montag is addicted to painkillers. This week’s UsWeekly claims Heidi Montag has become unhealthfully addicted to the painkillers that helped her cope with the after effects of surgery. Friends also worry she and husband Spencer have gone off the deep end in pursuit of fame.

Yeah, this story is sort of a much ado about nothing type of a thing, but apparently Heidi is a soccer Mom type who’s had her brains scrambled by the fame-hungry Spencer (insert maniacal music).
“She’s a shell of her former self…(she’s) crossed over to this bizarre place. They are addicted to the fame,” the source says. “As The Hills winds down and people start to care less, they are desperate to get back that high.”
This source (cough, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad, cough) say Heidi only got her 10 surgeries in one day for the all the publicity.
“She was spellbound. If it weren’t for him, she’d be a mom in the suburbs.”
