Katherine Heigl is not missed on the set of Grey’s Anatomy. Heigl took a few months off to raise her newly adopted daughter, and then made the decision last week to not return. Heigl has been sort of a prissy pain to the show for a while now — after famously not wanting to be considered for an Emmy due to bad writing — so the fact she decided not to return wasn’t exactly shocking.

A gossip source on the set sniped (via Celebitchy.com):
‘Finally! With every movie she’d get worse and start acting like she was the star. They’re such a family and are glad to have this behind them,” says the insider. “I doubt there will be a party to send her off.”
While Heigl was close to co-star TR Knight, its rumored she wasn’t exactly Ms. Congeniality on set.
