Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was found dead Sunday night at his home in the Hollywood Hills. Screenwriter Monjack died at home just five months after the death of his wife Murphy according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

The cause of his death was unknown.
According to police, Monjack, 39, was pronounced dead after the Los Angeles Fire Department was called there for a medical emergency.
Murphy, 32 died in December from a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication, a coroner said. According to her autopsy report, the drugs involved were legal drugs and used to treat a respiratory infection.
The couple had no children.
