Christina Aguilera cancels her summer tour. Christina was set to perform in the US, Canada and even in Mexico, but a little thing like lagging ticket sales has kept her from wanting to tour. Her people won’t admit it, but it appears that may be the underlying reason behind the cancellation excuse.

I guess these stars like to have a lot of fans packed in to stadiums to make it worth their time!
According to a statement from Live Nation, the tour promoter, the singer felt she didn’t have enough time to rehearse because of her new movie, Burlesque, due out in November, and her new album, Bionic, to be released June 8. Her 20-date tour was set to begin in July.
Rumor had it that if ticket sales would have been strong, she could have made the time. Christina’s little tiff over copying Lady Gaga’s style can’t have helped things either. Who wants to go see a lip syncing copycat?
