Jersey Shore Season 3 is not happening yet. The casting call MTV had out was to addd to their current cast, not take away Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D, the Situation or the rest of the gang. Is that a good or a bad thing?

Despite other reports that MTV would be replacing their cast for an upcoming season 3, OK! can confirm that the network is simply keeping their options open for the current season.
All those pesky rumors about a third season being cast right now — where did they come from?
“We are casting for Jersey Shore Season 2 in case we want to explore the option of bringing on new cast members,” a rep for MTV tells OK!. “It is not for a third season.”
How long do you think the Jersey Shore gang will keep filming at their current payday price? I think not much longer…
