Michael Lohan is not backing down from a conservatorship. Michael saw the story online how he was backing down and his lawyer fired off a newser saying he was indeed still going strong, just trying to be amicable about it.

Michael and his fiance Kate Major are still in LA, working with lawyers to get Lindsay in rehab. From TMZ:
TMZ reported that Michael was backing off his threat to force the issue. We were told the lawyers were “trying to resolve things amicably.” But resolving it amicably does not mean Michael is backing down or backing off, Bloom says.
Bloom tells TMZ, “There has been no agreement as to anything. All options remain open to save and protect Lindsay. That is Michael’s #1 priority.”
It’s interesting that he wants to get her in rehab…how about keeping her out of jail? Do you think Michael is sincere and trying to help?
