Pauly D’s accuser says MTV encouraged the beat down in order to have better ratings. Pauly D was in a fight on Season 1 of The Jersey Shore and the other person is now suing him and MTV. Of course, this other person waited until the show’s popularity had heated up and they knew they could get some money!

We know Pauly D uses protection, but he obviously didn’t ghet the right kind! The accuser’s lawyer says via Radar Online:
“Pauly D punched my client in the face while he was being held and then said, ‘It takes nine pounds of pressure to break a nose, you got to hit them just right.’”
Novak then contended that the show encouraged the incident. “If you go to the Jersey Shore on any given day in the summer you will see people reading, playing in the waves, walking on the boardwalk eating sausages and having a beer, but that’s not exciting enough for ratings, you need drama to perpetuate ratings and my client was used as a mere prop,” he told RadarOnline.com.
He is right about that…the Jersey Shore is a pretty tame, family friendly place. Should Pauly D have to pay the money or MTV?
