Taylor Swift donates half a million to flood victims. Nashville has been hit hard by the rains and the flooding last week, so country stars are turning to help each other out. Taylor threw in a big chunk of change this week!

Taylor might be young, but she sure knows how to act like a smart, responsible adult! According to US Magazine:
Taylor Swift — who moved to Nashville when she was 14 — is donating $500,000 to flood relief in the southern city.
“Being at home during the storm, I honestly could not believe what was happening to the city and the people I love so dearly,” Swift, 20, told The Associated Press in an e-mail. “Nashville is my home, and the reason why I get to do what I love. I have always been proud to be a Nashvillian, but especially now, seeing the love that runs through this city when there are people in crisis.”
People might slam on country stars a bit, but they sure are nice people. Taylor is young but she is sure smarter than a lot of older, richer people are! Keep it up Taylor!
