Tom Cruise explained in the latest issue of Esquire what possessed him to couch jump on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2005. Five years ago almost exactly, Tom and Katie were a hot new item and Oprah made the mistake of asking him about her.
more Tom after the hop…
Tom acted like a maniacal fool, jumping on Oprah‘s couch and yapping about how happy and in love he is. It was theatrical to say the least. The reporter who interviewed Cruise asked why he acted like such a loon. His response:
“What happened, happened… I wanted the audience to be happy just like I wanted to make my sisters and my mother happy when I did those skits as a kid. But I’ll take responsibility for my actions… Afterward, wild things were being said about me, and once they’re in the ether, there’s nothing you can do about it. It felt like being the new kid in the schoolyard again and the other kids are whispering and whispering about you and suddenly you hear what they’re saying, and you think, What? That didn’t happen. Look at the reality of the situation.”
Tom Cruise also swears on a million tabloids that he and Katie are happy as clams and all that tabloid talk is rubbish.
What do you think? Is Tom Cruise crazy or was it all blown out of proportion?

He’s gay! Why don’t he just admit what 80% of what everyone already knows and goes on with his life!
I think the media is crazy!!! So what if someone jumps up and down on a couch with excitment. Im not even a fan of Tom but any idiot can see its no big deal. Why make a big fuss about it? I dont get it. What wrong with the media. Report on real issues not bullshit like this!
