Rue McClanahan – notorious for her role as Golden Girls‘ man-eater Blanche Devereaux — died this morning in a New York hospital after complications from a stroke. more Golden Girls after the hop…
Betty told reporters today:
“Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasure our relationship,” White, 88, said in a statement. “It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that’s even possible.”
Rue died at the age of 76. Wow — who knew that Rose was a full decade older then Blanche?!
Betty White is officially the last Golden Girl standing. Cheesecake for everyone.
