Charlie Sheen will go to jail for 30 days due to his Christmas day fight with wife Brooke Mueller. Charlie is expected in court on June 7th, it is there he will plead no contest/guilty and then serve his 30 days in an Aspen jail.

While this may seem like a defeat, those close to Sheen‘s legal team say that an Aspen jail is a far better option then going to prison — which surely would have happened had he gotten into any more disputes while on probation (an almost certainty with a loose cannon like Charlie Sheen).
“Sheen and his people are worried that if he were to get into more trouble that he’d almost surely go to prison,” the source said. “By taking responsibility for what he did in Aspen, and agreeing to a no-probation resolution, he’ll be able to sleep a little easier. Compared to prison, the jail in Aspen is a far more attractive option.”
