CRISTIANO RONALDO, is a Portuguese soccer ace who currently plays as a right winger or striker for Spanish La Ligaclub Real Madrid. Ronaldo is also the captain of the Portuguese national team at the time of writing.
Ronaldo is the highest paid player in football history after moving from Manchester United to Real Madrid with a contract worth £80 million (US$132m). In addition, his contract with Real Madrid, in which he is to be paid £11 million per year over the following six years, makes him the highest-paid football player in the world.
With one of his sisters, Ronaldo opened a fashion boutique under the name “CR7″ (his initials and shirt number). There are currently two CR7 shop locations in Portugal: Lisbon and Madeira.
With his wealthy status, and being a guapo (handsome) superstar athlete, Ronaldo is often in the headlines for international entertainment news. He has dated supermodels in the past: English models Alice Goodwin and Gemma Atkinson, and in 2010, he has been dating Russian model Irina Shayk. Soccer is a grueling sport, but it appears Cristiano doesn’t mind all the perks that go with being a star in the sport.
