David Beckham teams up with Snoop Dogg for a Star Wars Commercial. The strange thing is they were selling….Addidas shoes. Huh? Star Wars, Snoop Dogg, Becks and…shoes?
More pictures of David after the duel…
Course, anything with Star Wars is cool.
Forget traveling to Capetown for the World Cup, the latest stop for David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and Jay Baruchel is Tatooine’s Mos Eisley Cantina. The odd trio make perfect stand-ins for Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and uh, Jay Baruchel, in Adidas’ new Star Wars-themed commercial (which also features Daft Punk and Oasis’ Noel Gallagher).
Here’s the video of the commercial:
What do you think of it? Did Addidas sell something or were you just watching to see what role David played? Yeah, I thought so. Is there anything David can do that wouldn’t be a success somehow?

I think this is a great promo! It’s really well done and has a lot of attention to detail.
Boogie Studio remixed all of the original Star Wars cantina sound effects and character dialogue with the new ones from the celebrities and other characters.
It’s a fun campaign and a great way to kick off FIFA 2010.
