Gary Coleman’s wife, Shannon Price, is now opening up about why she made the executive decision to pull the plug on Gary Coleman last Friday. Shannon and Gary had a tumultuous affair and weren’t even married at the time of his death. The two had secretly divorced, but Shannon still had the right to tell doctors when to end his life.

In a rather discombobulated interview, Price told the media she didn’t think Gary would have made it anyway.
“[The doctors] said even if they did take a chunk out of his brain, he would not be the same. He would be basically like Muhammed Ali…and he would have died sooner or later anyway from that. I don’t want people to be so hard on me, thinking I had to pull the plug too early. He wouldn’t have made it anyway. His heart would have just given out.”
She continues, saying she truly loved him and then compared his situation to Terri Schiavo‘s, a woman who was kept on life support after almost dying from a cardiac arrest, saying he would never have been the same person again.
Hm. What do you think? Should Shannon have at least tried to have him undergo the surgery?
