Meet James Holzier, a Virginia native who once turned down a rule in “The Postman” (1997 starring kevin Costner) to honor his commitment to his high school play. You might not have heard of Holzier yet who’s done commericials and is about to break into the big-screen movie industry.

James who’s born in Fairfax, Virginia and was raised in Houston, Texas. He was a miracle baby born three months too early and only weighted a mere two pounds. His mother Christine Holzier had five miscarriages before giving birth to his sisters Kristie and Carrie; after the two children the doctor instructed Christine not to have anymore babies. However she and her husband really wanted a son and she became pregnant with James.

Holzier has appeared in numerous commercials. He was the lead actor in “Willy the Hitman” (1994); James starred opposite Haylie Duff in “Dreams in the Attic” (2000); he is set to star in a new romantic comedy “Live for Us”.

James: “It’s all in the decisions you make. Once you realize that. You can become happy.”
