To say he is the toughest British actor in action movies is an understatement, Jason Statham is one all-muscled, tough guy who star in some mega box office hitters namely The Transporter and Crank. Like his idols Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, Statham does all the stunts in the movies himself, even hanging onto a helicopter!
Don’t worry Jason never wants his family to worry so he chooses not to tell them ahead when he’s doing death-defying stunts.
He was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, the son of Eileen (née Yates) and Barry Statham, a lounge singer. His remarkable physique has been the fruit of his long-term membership in Britain’s National Diving Squad and once landed 12th place in world championships.
Jason, whose macho and handsome image earned him lots of female attention and has dated several beautiful models. To this day, the hunk still never loses that charm even though he’s lost a lot of his hair!
