Jennifer Hudson has finally opened up about her family murders. Jennifer Hudson broke her silence about the grissly murders of her mother, brother and nephew which left her completely heartbroken in late 2008. She admits she had to rescind the offer of a major movie role because she wasn’t feeling up to it and morphed into a hermit crab.

In fact, she was so traumatized by the events she says its “all a blur” now.
“It’s all a blur, it was surreal. It was like I was outside of myself. For almost two weeks straight . . . [I was] inside one room with just family and friends coming in and out. I prayed when I’d get up in the morning and prayed before I lay down at night. I was like, I have to get adjusted to who I am,” she said. “I can’t be another character if I don’t even know who I am.”
Jennifer opens up about the killings on a new VH-1 Behind The Music special, where she also credits the birth of her 11-month old son as helping her throught the crisis.
