Jessica Alba stopped a crazed fan from getting surgery to look like her. About a year ago we heard a frightening story about a Chinese woman who’s ex-boyfriend was so obsessed with Jessica Alba that his ex-girlfriend wanted to get surgery to look like the actress.

The woman, Xiaoqing, who is from Shanghai, China, finally decided against the procedure. But only because Jessica Alba spoke to an American newspaper and said:
“I think you should never have to change yourself like that. If somebody loves you, they’ll love you no matter what.”
Simple enough advice. And what was the Chinese woman’s repsonse?
“I think it’s great that Jessica is so concerned about me. Her words also played an important role in my decision [not to get the work done].”
Congrats, Jess on one good deed.
