Lindsay Lohan’s favorite tea has traces of alcohol in it, which might set off her SCRAM bracelet. Ah, leave it to Lindsay to drink a tea with booze! No surprises here. Apparently her favorite tea, Kombucha, has .05% alcohol and could get in the way of her .00% BAC needed to keep that pesky SCRAM bracelet quiet.

A rep for the tea company said:
“Although we are not familiar with the technology or sensitivity of SCRAM bracelets, we think it would be highly unlikely that our products would trigger an alarm.” Bottom line, Lindsay would probably have to drink a ton of this stuff to set off her SCRAM-shackle — but that’s not to say she couldn’t do it.”
Oh my — do you think we’ll be reading about this tea and how it’s the reason her SCRAM sounds?
