Miley Cyrus says she’s not trying to be slutty! In case you didn’t know Cyrus has been put under scrutiny recently of the way she dresses. So the young starlett is speaking out.

Miley says: “I’m not trying to be ‘slutty,’” “I’m not trying to be like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys … What I’m trying to do is to make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my record sounds and the way I dress.”
Miley, 17 is releasing her new album “Can’t Be Tamed,” Some people are saying the video for “Can’t Be Tamed” is too provocative, and have criticized her for her revealing outfits.
Miley sees nothing wrong with flashing her legs.
“I’m really comfortable with my body, I work really hard to be fit and to know that I can wear whatever makes me most comfortable. I feel more comfortable dressing with a little less, which is just how I’ve always been”
“Now I’m able to do that a little more freely and, also, I’ve just grown up to be this way too. It’s not like this was me five years ago. It’s me now, presently.”
I just know girls at 17, they wear a lot of mini skirts and low cut tops these days and just because Miley is a star, she’s under close scrutiny. What do you think? Miley is growing up too fast or not?

Actually, Dan, Miley Cyrus is no worse for society than Madonna, Christina, Beyonce, Shakira, Lady Gaga, or Rihana. I think challenging the slut label is a good thing, whether you’re a teenager or an adult. I’m so sorry if you’re such a prude that you’re upset about this girl not conforming to virginal innocence.
