Is Tiger Woods really the father to a child born between him and an escort almost a decade ago? Well — nobody knows for sure (let’s call Maury) but the mother to the escort in question, Devon James, says Tiger‘s in the clear for this one. Whew. You know, part of me is happy Tiger Woods finally caught a break.

Devon James’ mother claims the 9-year-old boy in question most certainly is not Tiger‘s. In fact, she purports the father was in prison during the birth and the couple have concocted the story to get money.
“[James is] only out to lie, steal and cheat,” she said, going on to lob some further damning, character-killing accusations at her (we’re guessing estranged) daughter. “All she is looking for is to get money from him.”
The sad part? Devon may (may!) have been victorious had she crafted her story just a touch better. Hell, she could have at least had Gloria Allred on her side and maybe net a few hundred thousand from Tiger.
