Jessica Simpson turns 30 today. It’s actually hard to believe Jessica Simpson is only 30 seeing as we’ve watched her transform and metamorphoses for what seems like forever. On her special day, Simpson plans on hitting up the sultry Italian island Capri with her new (maybe still married?) beau, Eric Johnson.

So where did she think she would be at 30?
“I thought I had it figured out; I’m going to be this great pop star, be married, have babies. But things can be taken from you.”
Indeed. While Simpson has been incredibly successful at staying in the public eye, artistically she hasn’t yet reached a respectable level yet. None of her albums have done very well and her latest reality TV venture, The Price of Beauty, tanked.
