Is the Jersey Shore cast on strike? It appears that all was not resolved over their contract issues of just a month or so ago…the cast thought they had bigger paydays coming as a group…but apparently they do not.

They stood together so they could all get more money. But now, for season three, they say it isn’t good enough.
The cast was supposed to begin shooting “at home” scenes today for season three, but we’re told JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D and Vinny — who are spread out between New York and Rhode Island — told the crews they weren’t shooting without new contracts.
The Situation and Snooki are supposed to shoot tomorrow, and we’re told Snooki plans to do the same. No word yet on The Situation. Sources close to the show tell TMZ the cast feels they can make more money doing appearances for two months, rather than filming the show.
The Jersey Shore has gotten MTV a lot of attention, in a much better way then The Hills ever did…so I think their salaries should be equal to what Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s were.
