Jessica Simpson is in negotiations to become a judge on American Idol! Simpson has reportedly met with producer, creator Simon Fuller a few times and they think Simpson is a good fit.

An insider tells Life & Style, “She’s met with producer-creator Simon Fuller several times,” “They like her — she’s a good fit — and she likes it. Now it’s just a question of how to fit her in.”
The insider adds, “She’s not his [Simon Cowell's] replacement — they’re two entirely different personalities,” “This is part of a massive overhaul of the show. There may be more judges, more opinions.” Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Chris Isaak and Harry Connick Jr. have also been mentioned as possible additions.
So will Jessica make her dad’s day by signing on? “She’d be crazy to turn it down,” says the first insider. “She’ll just say things without thinking, and that’s what they want — that’s great TV!”
I say jump on it Jess. Do you think Jessica would make a great Idol judge? I do.
