Lady Gaga makes Beatles fans mad! Gaga was pictured playing the white piano of the late John Lennon in Yoko Ono’s home. John’s youngest son Sean snapped the picture and put it on his Twitter page, not knowing the controversy it would bring up!

Sean Lennon and Yoko Ono didn’t seem to care at all, so why should any one else?
Sean Lennon, the son of late former Beatles singer John Lennon and artist Yoko Ono, posted the image via TweetPhoto.
The photo shows singer Lady Gaga apparently playing John Lennon’s piano in Yoko Ono’s home on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
Sean Lennon responded on Twitter to those who say things like Lady Gaga isn’t worthy of playing that piano, saying, “pianos meant are to be played. Why is everyone so uptight? What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgmental…”
If John’s own son doesn’t care, why should the rest of the world? Do you think Gaga should have refrained from tickling the ivories or is Sean right, a piano is meant to be played?

I think it was very thoughtful to allow Lady GaGa to play a piano that is so much a part of history, I imagine she was humbled to be allowed to touch it let alone play it. Honestly I didnt know what to think of her till recently because im old enough to be a Beatles fan so my taste in music is a little more old style. and she does wear some outlandish outfits….however my husband and i were watching tv recently and here we were both enjoying her strong voice. it was great….and I would imagine Sean felt good about it or he would not have allowed it. But I would wonder WWYD.
The problem isn’t that she played a piano or that someone played John Lennon’s piano it’s that she is nowhere near the artist John Lennon was and thus should not be playing the legend’s piano.
