Lindsay Lohan got to keep her hair extension on. The rules in the jail say they must come off once you enter jail, but Lindsay got a pass on this for a couple of reasons. Most of those reasons have to do with money and the quality of the weave job Lindsay has.

It wasn’t money that bribed jail officials, it’s just that most people in jail don’t have the quality hair job Lindsay has.

Typically, hair extensions are removed when an inmate arrives at the Lynwood, California all-female facility, but only if they’re detachable, according to L.A. County Sherriff’s Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore. Lohan’s extensions, on the other hand, are bonded to her hair and essentially sewn in close to her scalp, jail officials told the L.A. Times.

In other words, Lindsay would have been almost bald if they had to cut the hair off. Is this special treatment or just common sense to let her keep them?
