Mel Gibson = Sober?
Mel Gibson = sober? That’s what his church members and even insiders are saying about Mel. He has not had a drink of alcohol and has stayed on the wagon since his DUI bust. So, that is good…but it doesn’t explain the rants then.

Those rant tapes were being pushed off as drunken rages…but if Mel hasn’t been drinking, what are they?
While some have presumed Gibson’s rant was alcohol-fueled — sources close to Mel tell TMZ he hasn’t had a drop since his infamous DUI arrest. Y’know …THAT one … which happened four years ago tomorrow, by the way.
People in Oksana’s camp say she acknowledged Gibson’s sobriety during child custody mediation — but she also wanted to make sure Mel didn’t go off the wagon during visitation with Lucia.
Well, congrats on the sobriety, but I think there’s still something wrong here. This situation is a mess…how did Mel fall so far off the popularity charts?
