The Michael and Dina Lohan denial train has begun. It only took one day for Dina to hit LA where Lindsay was and speak to the press about how wrong jail is for Lindsay. Michael managed to speak to the press the same day!

Of course, jail isn’t the place for Lindsay! There’s nothing wrong with her, says Dina. Michael knows better and wants her in rehab.
“I know that jail didn’t do anything for me with my addictions,” Michael, 50, said Tuesday on Larry King Live. “[Lindsay] needs help. … The last thing I wanted in the world was for my daughter to go to jail.”
Calling jail too “harsh” for a “young lady like Lindsay,” Michael expressed his faith that his daughter will get her act together. “When she puts her mind to something, she can do anything in the world,” he said.
Lindsay’s mom Dina also disagrees with her daughter’s 90-day jail sentence. “This is so not fair to do this to my child,” Dina told Popeater.
So what does Dina think would be fair? Any person who is not a star would have gotten the jail sentence, why should Lindsay be above it?
