Paris Hilton finally addressed all the pot arrest rumors via Twitter today. Starting Friday, the Internet was aglow with rumors that Paris Hilton had been arrested for marijuana possession while watching the World Cup in South Africa. Then we learned the charges were cleared, and it was actually somebody else in P.Hilt‘s camp with the drugs, not her.

Today, in her usual happy P.Hilt way, she cleared everything up once and for all.
“Hey guys, there’s a lot of crazy rumors going around. Just want you all to know the truth. Everything is completely fine. I was not charged or arrested, cause I didn’t do anything. I was assisting the police with the investigation and answering their questions. Everyone was super nice and friendly to me. I love South Africa! Such an amazing place, especially during The World Cup! Hope that clears everything up. Love you guys, thanks for your concern. Xoxo P.”
Well, at least Paris got some press out of the whole ordeal. So not all is lost!
