President Obama made an appearance on The View today and admitted he’s never heard of a certain Snooki. First, let’s just get it out of the way how sad and desperate it is that the Snooki subject was even broached. It’s bad enough we as entertainment bloggers write about her, but during an interview with the President? Really?

While Obama said he was aware of the fact Lindsay Lohan was locked up in jail, his knowledge of Snooki and friends was considerably lacking.
“Quizzed by Joy Behar in a “lightening” round, Obama was asked if he knew if Lohan is in jail. “I actually know that, yes,” the President responded.
But Snooki stumped him. “Should Snooki run as mayor of Wasilla?” Behar asked. Obama, laughing, responded, “I gotta admit, I don’t know who Snooki is.”
Sigh. Now the last person on earth (who happened to be Barack Obama) who wasn’t aware of Snooki, is. Yeah, America!
