Wyclef Jean might want to be Haiti’s president. The singer was being interviewed on CNN and was asked about his political motivations after a report said he was already in the presidential race. His reply – maybe.

Maybe? If he’s going to be a politician, Wyclef better come up with a snarkier line than that!
His foundation, Yéle Haiti, released the following statement about the presidential prospect:
“Wyclef’s commitment to his homeland and its youth is boundless, and he will remain its greatest supporter regardless of whether he is part of the government moving forward. At this time, Wyclef Jean has not announced his intent to run for Haitian president. If and when a decision is made, media will be alerted immediately.”
Now that sounds completely political! Do you think Wyclef would make a good president for his country or is he taking advantage of the earthquake situation and his musical fame?
