Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway and many other A-list celebrities were scammed by an L.A.-based salon owner. Maria Gabriella Perez owner of Chez Gabriela Studio could spend up to 25 years in jail after scamming her A-list clientele out of a high six-figures amount of cash.

According to reports, Perez worked on the famous heads of Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, Cher, Liv Tyler, Melanie Griffith and designer Loree Rodkin. After the stars would pay for their services, Perez would continue to charge things to their accounts – in hopes they wouldn’t notice.
The report says:
“Rodkin’s card was illegally charged to the tune of $68,000, while Tyler’s cards were racked up with $214,000 in fraudulent charges in 2009 from the salon, investigators said. Perez, 51, was arrested Wednesday by Secret Service agents at her business She faces two counts of fraud that carries a maximum prison sentence of 25 years if she is convicted.”
Wow – how despicable. Let’s hope justice is served.
